Between 1983 and 1989 he studied at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts and at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he lived for several years.  He dedicates himself to painting, photography and occasionally, graphic design. He focuses mainly on large cycles of paintings.
His recently completed projects include the following cycles: Liquid Sands (2010), Point of View (2013), The Burden of Lightness (2015) and FACETIME (2016). He regularly presents his works both in the Czech Republic and abroad, where many of his works can be found in various collections. He has held exhibitions in France, Switzerland, Germany and the USA, just to mention a few. He continuously publishes his works in the Revolver Revue magazine. Painting workshops that develop creative skills across generations form an integral part of his work. This work resulted in the joint project called Jamming, which will be presented in spring 2017 at DOX, the Centre for Contemporary Art.
